Explore the art of candlemaking at Lifebloom, a destination for candle lovers in the heart of South Boston. Our candle bar is designed to ignite creativity and foster connections through the candlemaking experience.

With a wide selection of high quality, clean ingredients and expert guidance, Lifebloom invites you to experience the art of candlemaking, learn new skills, and curate personalized candles in an intimate setting that encourages self-discovery.

Book Your Experience

Lifebloom will provide a 45 minute immersive and educational candlemaking experience for up to 8 guests. Reservations are required. Book a reservation online to secure your spot for this hands-on, curated candlemaking experience. Choose our 18 oz or 9 oz size for your custom creation. 

For groups larger than 8, or if you are looking for a private experience, please book here.

If for some reason you are running late or need to reschedule, please let us know. Any individual(s) who arrive more than 10 minutes late, may result in a cancellation.

After Your Experience

Candles take 2 hours to cure and be topped before they are ready to take home. Same day pick up is not available for the last 2 reservation slots of the day (4-5PM, 5-6PM). While you wait for your candle to cure, you can explore South Boston for several great options for food and drinks, or you can come by another day to pick up your candle.

We ask that all candles be picked up within a week of being poured. We will only hold candles up to 2 weeks, before they will be donated. If for any reason you are unable to pickup your candle, please let us know and we can arrange for your candle to be shipped for an additional cost.

Parking

Our location is conveniently located across the street from a free 2-hour parking lot, as well as free 2-hour street parking. We recommend planning to arrive early to your booking to ensure enough time to find parking.

Such a great experience!

Fun experience!

The candle bar DIY experience was very fun and interactive. Perfect for gathering together with friends for a fun experience or even for a date. The staff was very helpful in picking out oil scents for us to smell and pick from. The experience was very structured and easy to follow with the guidance of staff. Overall, it was a very fun time.

Great activity to do with friends!

I genuinely loved this experience. My friend and I went on a saturday morning and it was such a calming activity for us to do. Megan made the experience fun and it was nice to chat with others in the group. They are super helpful with explaining how scents go together and the candles turned out so cute! Smell incredible too!

Candle making experience

I really enjoyed my candle making session. The facilitator was knowledgeable and shared general information about candle making, as well as topics specific to Lifebloom products. I would definitely return to make another custom candle!
